(c) Dunster Yacht & Ship 2014
Monte Fino interiors are magnificent and the yard offers exceptional levels of customisability. The yachts are semi-bespoke and, in some instances, you can even specify a different length of hull within a model.
Monte Finos are noted for their wide beam and significantly larger volume than similar length competitors.
The yard contracts internationally renowned designers to work with its in-house team. This includes Humphreys Yacht Design (UK), Dubois Naval Architects Ltd (UK) and Mulder Design (The Netherlands).
Monte Finos come standard with the same major equipment (e.g. engines and electronics) that you would expect to find on prominent European brands.
Monte Finos are built by Kha Shing Enterprise Ltd in Taiwan. The yard has been building yachts since 1977 and made its first export to Seattle in 1978. By 2004, it was ranked #9 of the Worlds Top 20 Yacht Builders and delivered its 1000th vessel in 2006. Most recently, the Kha Shing has invested millions of dollars in upgrading its facilities and adding 15,000m2 to its factory space to accommodate yachts as large as 44m.
Kha Shing benefits from low labour costs and the buying power you would expect from one of the world's largest yacht manufacturers. However, customers also enjoy the results of exceptional levels of craftsmanship and attention to detail that comes from a long-established yard with proud traditions and many staff with over 30 years of service.
The yard is ISO certified and the build quality is well recognised by the world's major classification societies like RINA, Bureau Veritas (BV) and many more.
All yachts are built in GRP, and both resin infusion and hand lay-up processes are used for strength, lower weight and repeatable quality.
